The floor must be installed on a stable and flat surface, the deviation of which must not exceed 2 mm by 200 cm in length. The substrate for laminate floors must be dry, clean and stable. The second thing to note is water sensitivity. Due to the specific structure, even brief contact of the panel core with water leads to irreversible damage. Can you fight it? Yes, these negative values, which the structure of laminate flooring entails, can be significantly reduced by using appropriate underlay with sound insulation. However, before we lay the underlay for laminate panels, we should take care of the subfloor.
